Kathy Ready is a contemporary artist based in New Plymouth. She takes inspiration from her physical and emotional environment to produce colourful abstract oil paintings.

Kathy often uses charcoal, chalk and pencil in her work, enjoying the freedom that drawing back into a painting can bring. Text is also a common feature, used to enhance the pictorial space, express a fleeting thought, or give a pointer to what the work is about.

Kathy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (Honours) and has sold her paintings in both New Zealand and Australia.

Rae van't Hof has been painting all her life and is self taught. Her experience has mostly been gained from hours in the studio. She paints in oil or acrylic on canvas stretchers and board.

Rae's work is simplistic and relies on composition which she loves. Subject matter is generally either flowers from her garden, Taranaki landscape or the human figure. Rae has had numerous solo and group exhibitions and further details of these are available on her website.
