Sue Nightingill is a Taupo based self taught artist who has had a passion for art for the whole of her life and views her art as a wonderful adventure. Her paintings include figurative and abstract subjects but Sue is primarily and passionately a landscape artist, creating vibrant images on canvas in acrylic enjoying its quick drying properties and the ability to incorporate texture.

The New Zealand central plateau and environs are forever changing and dear to her heart. Sue aims to capture loose brush strokes, colour, light and mood. She draws her inspiration from the breathtaking New Zealand landscape and is humbled by the appreciation shown for her work.
