The Annual Art Exhibition hosted by Auckland Grammar School is on once again 3/5 September 2010
The opening cocktails are on Friday 03 September from 6.30pm. This is THE chance to view and purchase the art for the first time. Tickets are only $50 per person and are on sale now.
The Art Exhibition is open to the general public on Saturday and Sunday 4/5 September. Viewing is free and all art work is for sale - proceeds go to the school's Foundation Trust.
This is an amazing opportunity to see over 600 pieces of art by 120 leading and emerging NZ artists.

The Bold Horizon National Contemporary Art Award is an opportunity for New Zealand artists to appear in an overview of national artistic practice and feature in a major exhibition within the Waikato Museum. The winner receives $15,000.
Among our national art community this Art Award, established by the Waikato Society of Arts in 2000, is regarded as one of New Zealand's premiere contemporary art events. It has put Waikato on the map for its thought provoking entries that promote debate about what is fresh and innovative in art.
The winner of the 2009 National Contemporary Art Award was Dane Mitchell with his entry 'Collateral'.
Each year, the Award also gives the opportunity to view New Zealand's contemporary art scene through the eyes of a respected curator.

Oviraptor Embryo Hatching the Past takes a rare and exciting look into the life of dinosaurs that once roamed our planet. A captivating and interactive experience for all ages!
The exhibition is organised around eight sections which cover a large variety of different dinosaurs including plant eating dinosaur eggs and their babies.
