Recognising that the general public is becoming more internet savy and more comfortable with buying goods and services online, it is becoming more profitable to have an online presence. Customers are more likely then ever before to purchase art online as seen by the number of sales of artworks now being made over the internet.

Artlist has been founded by two full-time New Zealand artists, Amie McCarron and Collette Fergus, who both have been successful in the areas of promotion and internet sales of artworks via their personal websites. Between them they have discovered the keys to a successful online business - the most important being a focus on marketing and promoting your website. The most used tools for finding goods and services online are Internet search engines such as Google. Artlist has been optimised for such tools and therefore is in a great position to assist New Zealand artists by increasing visitor numbers to their websites and therefore their online exposure.

Combined this dynamic duo have extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with galleries, artists, online marketing and web development.  They aim to share this experience and knowledge with other New Zealand artists by means of Artlist.
