Michael Sass has pursued art seriously since he semi-retired in 1998. His preferred medium is pastel but he also works with oils and acrylics - mostly in landscape realism. Michael has exhibited at numerous exhibitions and was honoured to be awarded best pastel drawing at the Molly Morpeth Canaday Awards in 2005 and again in 2007. Michael has a unique painting method with pastels, preferring to produce much larger paintings than the small paintings this medium is usually associated with.
