Michelle works primarily as a sculptor in the bronze medium. Her works are held in many national and international private collections. She has received public and private comissions for her work to monumental scale. Movement, energy & fluidity of form are strong features of Michelle's figurative works, as well as harmonic connections with nature & the cosmos. She sometimes uses humour as a means of expressing aspects of the human condition in modern day life. An integrative thinker, Michelle is interested in exploring the interconnections and natural symmetries which are part of the dynamic whole. She also enjoys using charcoal, ink and acrylic in 2D works. She seeks to offer images which uplift, inspire and soothe the human spirit.
